What blood test are required before surgery?
Before
surgery a patient should perform basic blood tests: morfology, INR and
APTT. In case of patients over 40 years old, ECG is required.
What medications should not be taken before the procedure?
At least one week before rugery a patient should not take vitamin E, aspirin and any medications containing aspirin.
What does nose surgery look like?
Most of nose surgeries are performed in local anesthesia. The surgery
takes around 1,5 hours time. After the procecure the nose is covered
with stiff plaster, the dressing stays on the nose for about 4 days.
Right after the procedure a patient stays at the clinic for around an
hour.
What does convalescence after nose surgery look like?
For 24-48 hours a patient should avoid excessive effort, staying in
sitting position ar lying down with head up. Cold compresses are
recomended, it helps to diminish swelling and bruising after the
